Post 5 : Choice of Two Topics (Choose one of the two)

 

Hi bloggers : In our last post we may choose between two topics to write about. 


Topic A:

Tell us about a career-oriented website you enjoy visiting. Include this information:

  • Describe the website and provide the link.

  • How often do you visit it?

  • Explain why you like the site.

  • Who would you recommend it to?

Upload pictures


Topic B:

Tell us about an expert/person in your field that you admire. Include this information:

  • Why do you admire this person?

  • What has this person done/contributed?

  • Provide a short biography of this person

Upload pictures

Make comments on 3 of your classmates’ posts + a comment on your teacher's post

Word Count: 150 words

Personally , I've got two favourite websites I visit almost daily:  www.youtube.com and www.ted.com. I like them because in the first one I can find lots of material for my classes, many tutorials about other things I'm interested in, such as : old films, docummentaries, foreign languages etc whereas in the second one, I can find lots of lectures on very different topics - science, technology, politics,arts, etc given by very important professors, researchers that are quite relevant and outstanding in these days.

    Hello teacher, I also use youtube a lot of times, can be useful to learn about complicated topics that by reading is not enough.

    Hi teacher!! YouTube is one of my favorite platforms too. I also have the premium subscription so I don't have to see advertisements. In the case of English I try to listen to the music I like with the lyrics and their translation in order to learn more.

Hi everyone : Although my generation had to get used to technology and internet all of a sudden, I - personally , have become very dependant on it: I can't imagine planning a class without a computer and internet, for instance. The same happens when thinking about my free time: a smart tv and a smartphone have become indispensable objects that I use everyday during working days or holidays.
