Post 3 : Your favourite piece of technology

Image
Hi everyone : Although my generation had to get used to technology and internet all of a sudden, I - personally , have become very dependant on it: I can't imagine planning a class without a computer and internet, for instance. The same happens when thinking about my free time: a smart tv and a smartphone have become indispensable objects that I use everyday during working days or holidays. Therefore, if I'm asked about my favourite piece of technology, I'd definitely say , my computer. I use it to work, watch series, browse for internet information (much faster than doing it on a tv set) also contact my foreign friends via skype, etc.etc. . What about you? What's your favourite piece of technology? Why is this your favorite piece of technology? How do you use it/What do you do with it? How does it affect your life?Would you recommend using it? Upload pictures. Write about that / those piece (s) of technology explaining why they are so important to yo...

Hi bloggers: When I was at school I used to dream about becoming a simultaneous interpreter at the United Nations in New York, since I 've always enjoyed learning foreign languages and, mainly because I was only 16 years old at that time. So my decision was crystal clear , I had to study Translation at Universidad Católica - the only place to study it  at that time. However, 3 months before taking the PSU test  , the career was closed. I was devastated because that was my only option. Finally , I decided to study  English Teaching and then move  to Translation internally. I was admitted , BUT, once inside I learnt that it was almost impossible to move to Translation. Then , after  getting depressed, a teacher helped me to understand that I had to go on with teaching, since a teacher can do both things: translating and teaching, whereas a translator can't work as a teacher. From then on, I started enjoying this career. I think I've been successful with...
